Be sure to take home a souvenir of your visit!
The museum shop has a wide assortment of articles relating to Reinhold Messner and the exhibitions: from postcards to signed copies of Reinhold Messner’s various books plus special MMM gift ideas like handprinted T-shirts made of organic cotton, posters of unique works of art, jewelry and much else besides.
The shop is open during the museum’s opening hours. We look forward to your visit!
Restaurant
Inside the museum at Firmian Castle, in the building with the annual exhibitions and the Rittersaal, there is also a restaurant and café with a sunny garden and a cool cellar. In addition to a small but varied range of local dishes, the restaurant offers typical South Tyrolean snacks, apple strudel and cake, and a choice of fine wines. The restaurant is only open to visitors to the museum.

Discussions around the fire with Reinhold Messner

Every Tuesday in August: Experience and enjoy the evening atmosphere at the MMM Firmian, by visiting the museum or dining in our restaurant (doors open at 7 p.m.). With the onset of dusk (9 p.m.) Reinhold Messner will tell you stories from his life and answers your questions.
Attention: Reinhold Messner will tell his stories in German, it will not be translated into English. On the 16th August he will speak only Italian.
Price: 35 € adults, 18 € children (8-16 years), children under 8 years can enter for free, Family ticket (2 adults with children under 14 years) 80 €.
In the evening of the event the museummobilcard is not accepted. Tickets only available at the box office.
Please bring your own seat and rain cover .
You don't need to register!
The outdoor event will take place only in stable weather conditions.

You can have exclusive hire of Sigmundskron Castle after the museum has closed at 6 p.m. The two spacious courtyards with a stage, the cinema, amphitheater and garden terraces are at your disposal outdoors as well as the Rittersaal (with two beamers, screens and sound system) indoors. Catering is provided by the museum restaurant. Parking available. Incentives with Reinhold Messner – in the form of a mountain walk, a lecture or a tour of the museum including an introductory talk followed by dinner together – are also available.
